Once you have placed your order you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email please contact us directly via the contact section on the online store.
All parcels within Australia are sent within 4 business days via express post with a tracking number through Australia Post. If no one is available at the time of delivery Australia Post will leave a calling card. It is your responsibility to arrange for re-delivery or pick up from your post office.
POSTAGE & HANDLING:
Postage and handling is a flat rate fee of $15 within Australia.
Your order will be shipped within 4 business days of receipt. We do not ship on weekends or public holidays so orders received on those days will be shipped the following business day. Please allow an additional 1-3 days for orders travelling to Western Australia or outside of metropolitan area. Delivery times are an estimate only and the label will not be liable for any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery.
The item will be carefully packaged to ensure that it arrives in pristine condition. If your jewellery arrives damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours. Email firstname.lastname@example.org and you will receive a prompt response.
When purchasing multiple items, two pairs of earrings will be packaged in a medium box. If you require each item to be packed individually for gifts please mention this in the notes section at check out.
Postage and handling fees to anywhere outside of Australia will be $45. All items will be sent within 4 business days of purchase via Australia Post Express International Service (signature required). Parcels could take between 3-6 business days to arrive once they have been dispatched. The parcels can be tracked through the Australia Post website. Delivery times are an estimate only and the label will not be liable for any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery.
TAXES & DUTIES:
All applicable custom fees, taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of the customer. Custom authorities require that we state the value of your order directly on your package. It is at the sole discretion of custom agents to release your package. Note, in rare occasions custom agents may delay delivery of some packages.
All prices listed on our site are charged to your credit card in Australian dollars. The bank that has issued your credit card determines the exchange rate that you will be charged, but in general it should match closely with the current rate.
LOST OR DAMAGED GOODS:
If your order is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 working days of placing your order so that we may assist you.
In the very unlikely case that a product you have purchased is unavailable we will contact you immediately. If the transaction has been processed we will reverse the payment. We will then inform you when the product will be available. For any enquires regarding this please email email@example.com and you will receive a prompt response.
When purchasing earrings please make sure to request post fastening or clip-on fastenings. If you do not leave a request in the notes section on the order form you will be sent a pair with post fastenings.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGE POLICY:
Unfortunately we are unable to issue refunds unless there is manufacturing fault present.
Please choose carefully as we do not offer an exchange or refund on pierced earrings for hygiene reasons or for any items where you have changed your mind, decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it.
For all other items you may exchange within 7 days from date of purchase and within 15 days for international orders. Customers will be responsible for all Express shipping & re-shipping charges for exchanges. Items not received within this timeframe will not be accepted. Christie Nicolaides must receive the product in the original packaging via Express Post and in the exact condition it was sent out in. It must not have been worn.

All faulty items will be fully inspected before a refund can be issued. The product must be sent within 3 business days of making a claim for faulty goods.
If you are issued a refund it we will credited back onto credit the card that you placed the order with.
All items are quality checked before they are ready for dispatch however on the very occasionally there may be a fault we didn't find.
Claims for faulty goods must be made within 2 months of purchase.
Please note that the general wear and tear in the course of normal use is not considered a manufacturing fault. The jewellery containing, glass, resin or semi precious stones are delicate and fragile and should be handled carefully. Crystal or glass stones breaking from mishandling is not considered a manufacturing fault. Manufacturing faults do not include cracked or broken stones or if an item has been bent out of shape from wear or if the plating starts to fade.
The jewellery is handmade and can be very fragile. If it is dropped on a hard surface it could break or stones could loosen. Christie Nicolaides is not required to fix items have been broken or replace stones.
All pieces come with care instruction information that should be followed. Please see the Care Instructions on the website for further information.
VARIANCE IN SEMI PRECIOUS STONES:
Natural stones vary in colour and size. Your piece will bear individual characteristics and although equally as beautiful and unique, it may vary slightly from the photograph shown on the website.
Please look at all photos provided of the product to see the variances. If you have a special request for a particular colour tone please email the team before placing an order.
We are regrettably not able to exchange for a different piece based on the characteristics of the stones.
Please make sure to read the description of each design. If you have any questions regarding the size or weight of a product please enquire before making a purchase. We can not offer offer exchanges for change of mind.
Gift cards are delivered by email and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout. Our gift cards have no additional processing fees.

Christie Nicolaides jewellery is hand crafted in exotic places around the world, which means each and every piece is unique. Due to the fragile nature of the jewellery the upmost care must be taken. The metal components used are brass. Some stones that are not soldered in are glued resulting in them being more fragile. We recommend all jewellery be cleaned only with a polishing cloth. No detergents or cleaning solutions should be used.
Always keep your item stored in a safe place and away from perfume, moisturizer and hairspray. Do not wet the metal. Take jewellery off when washing hands, having a shower or swimming. Dropping causing damage will not be considered a fault and will not result in a refund. Damage from careless wear is not the responsibility of the label.
